In September 2024, we had several new IBL lines ready for production. They were the result of close collaboration with some of our most trusted breeders — all working toward one clear goal: creating truly stable marihuana seeds that growers could rely on, cycle after cycle.

At that point, the plan was simple. Multiply these lines and bring them to market as a new generation of feminized seeds.

But then everything changed.

When Science Meets Breeding

Just as we were preparing for production, we connected with a research team from the biology department of a major European university. We can't reveal the name yet, but the team includes a department director, a professor of biomedicine, and a natural scientist.

For years, we had explored the idea of polyploid marihuana. The potential was clear — but finding the right partners wasn't easy.

This team already had experience developing triploids in agricultural hemp and other plant species, where polyploid breeding is used to improve uniformity, vigor, and crop reliability.

What they lacked was a stable, THC-rich IBL genetic base to take their research further.

What Are Triploid Marihuana Seeds?

Triploid marihuana seeds represent a new generation of genetics designed to produce plants with three sets of chromosomes (3N) instead of the usual two. They are created by crossing tetraploid (4N) and diploid (2N) parent plants, resulting in plants that combine strong growth, high yields, and a natural tendency toward sterility.
